Our Vision:
There once was a woman who never met a stranger. There once was a woman who never turned her back on someone in need. There once was a woman who loved so boldly that everyone was a friend. She is gone too soon and in honor of the late Bennie Mullins, many Enid community advocates realized there was a need that was no longer being served in her absence. So we set our sights out to do so and created Bennie’s Barn.
The purpose of Bennie’s Barn is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, neglected, and displaced horses and to use those horses and the process of rehabilitation to minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of mentally and physically disabled children and veterans. Together with that, Bennie’s Barn also provides a place for children to learn and care for horses. This process helps both the animal and the person, which is why the legacy of Bennie Mullins will continue to bless our community so richly.
The staff at Bennies Barn, Inc. is a firm believer that everyone deserves his or her glory and it’s their time to shine.
For those individuals, Bennies Barn, Inc. is their ball game, their stage, their pedestal. They are our teammates and our heroes. The dynamic staff and volunteers at Bennies Barn, Inc. share this commitment, and will work tirelessly to see it happen on a daily basis. No job is too large, too small, or too dirty for this wonderful staff.
While at-risk students will cross invisible lines of social communication, and cognitive difficulties, clients with physical impairments will have improved balance and coordination. Autistic clients will discover a whole new world through various equine activities, making great strides in many directions.

The Mission of Bennie’s Barn is to provide comprehensive therapy programs for individuals utilizing horses to facilitate trust, learning and healing in our most vulnerable of populations in Northwestern Oklahoma.
Bennie's Barn, Inc., an equine learning and theraputic riding center, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization designed to provide comprehensive educational programs for all individuals utilizing horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing.
Pursuing this mission enriches the lives of our clients in a caring, safe, and challenging environment that will enable them to reach their full potential.
Our commitment is to those individuals, and their families who may not get the chance to enjoy the prestigious accolades on the basketball court, football, baseball or softball field, on the stage, or on any other community arena.
